Spacious: a Collection of Art and Poetry
Inspired by Psalm 18:19—“He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me.”
The Spacious Collection was born out of a personal journey from fear and striving into freedom, rest, and the deep realization that I am already held and delighted in by God.
Through layered abstraction, open compositions, airy colors, and intuitive mark-making, these paintings explore what it means to live from a place of spaciousness—to have room to breathe, to rest, to dream, to wonder, and to simply be.
For me, spaciousness is not just about physical space. It is an inner place where we no longer have to prove, perform, or rush. It is the freedom to abide in God’s expansive love and to become fully who we were created to be.
Each painting is an invitation into that space.
My prayer is that these works offer a little breathing room for the soul—a moment to slow down, rest, and remember that there is room for you here. Room to breathe. Room to be free. Room to dream. Room to become.

In Your triune,
spacious,
spacious love,
I finally found
a spacious,
wide-open field
that You prepared for me.
There I found
heaven-breathed freedom
birthed from divine delight
that sets me
truly,
truly free—
to live,
live abundantly,
to breathe,
breathe deeply,
to dream,
dream God-sized dreams,
to create,
create with all colors and textures,
to dance,
dance without reservation,
to sing,
sing with my whole being,
to run,
run like a child,
to rest,
rest soundly in green pastures,
to abide,
abide in the delight of the Father,
to love,
love without fear,
to be,
just be—
as unmistakably chosen,
carefully crafted for a beautiful purpose,
dearly, deeply beloved,
to dwell now and forever
with my Savior.
